Stockton Oak Project White River Wildlife Area
The Wasco County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD), in partnership with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) and Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF), is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to establish the Stockton Oak Qualified Contractor Pool for the White River Wildlife Area in Wasco County, Oregon. The contractor pool will support future restoration and fuels reduction projects within the Stockton Oak project area.
Contractors selected through this Request for Proposals (RFP) will receive an award in the form of an Agreement-to-Agree (ATA) and will become eligible to compete for future Mini-Requests for Proposals (Mini-RFPs) issued by the District for the Stockton Oak Project. Potential work assignments include mastication, mechanical cut-and-pile treatments, hand cut-and-pile treatments, as well as herbicide application. Selection into the contractor pool does not guarantee future work but provides eligibility to compete for project specific contracts during the term of the agreement.
The District invites all qualified, Oregon-licensed contractors with experience in restoration, forestry, and fuels reduction work to submit proposals detailing their capabilities, qualifications, and schedule demands described in the RFP. To be selected, contractors must be currently licensed by the Secretary of State to conduct business in the State of Oregon and be in compliance with applicable state tax laws.
The RFP including all attachments, and exhibits, is published on the Oregon Buys System at http://www.oregonbuys.gov (Document # S-R33119-00018295) and will not be mailed to prospective Proposers. Questions are due to the Single Point of Contact listed in the RFP no later than November 9, 2026, and Proposals are due November 30, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
